Yup I am having lap band done on the 29th! Congrats your Doc is the one who was on tv.. if it is you are in the best hands you could possibly be! Congrats on the start of your new life!! feel free to write anytime if you have ? or need some support!

Linda - i'm going in on 4/22 too. And, I"m nervous/excited/hungry/and just on my own little emotional roller coaster. (probably the only roller coaster I fit in right now!).

My surgery is April 29th @ the Methodist in Houston, with Dr. Garth Davis. Starting to get a "little" nervous here. I am so scared and worried and on the other hand so happy and exited and sooo ready for this change. It's funny, all these feelings @ once. Anyone having surgery on the 29th??? I wish all of you brave people the best of luck!!

My surgery is scheduled April 29th @ the Methodist in Houston. So I be right behind you girl. It's true, first I thought it would never happen for me and now I am almost there. I have to say I am a little afraid and I pray to God that everything will be ok.
I am not doing so great with the not eating. I need to get it together, I know.
Stay in touch, you are in my thoughts.

I felt so great yesterday that I think I may have overdone.....I'm bad to do that....feeling a little sore this morning but I am going to eat breakfast and then head out walking! Hope you guys have a great day!

Hi Linda. My surgery is also on 4/22 in Philadelphia. I went through the nervous stage but now just can't wait to get to surgery. I have been on a 10 day liquid diet and have lost 8 pounds so far. Did you have to do a liquid diet? Anyway, I wish you the best and we will both be on the loser's bench in no time. Good luck!!!! Linda Slaven

Are you kidding, you need to celebrate and scream from the rooftops. 17 lbs. That is a two year old. Fabulocity! And you are feeling great and ready to eat. U are already a total success. I am so happy for you.

I am having my surgery April 29th,so it looks like we will be having our surgeries back to back.Like u ,I am excited and nervous at the same time.I just found out today when my surgery date is,so not quite prepared.I guess I had better get on the ball.I wish u all the luck and a speedy recovery.Take care!!
