I am having surgery on the 29th just like you. I am having RNY in Worcester, MA. I know just what you mean about feeling every emotion all at once. Am I really ready, this is so exciting, I'm scared, I cant wait...its almost unreal. Only 12 days away. Good luck you to hun, will keep you in my thoughts.

OMGoodness! This is getting so.... exciting. My date is so soon too. I am right after you on the 30th. I can't stop smiling now. We are all going to do so totally great! Looking forward to sharing the loosers bench with yah!

When was your surgery? We always tell our patients to let us know when they have an odd taste in the mouth. Could be many things. Were you on any antibotics? It there a white covering on your tongue? Most often we find thrush causes a " lead taste in the mouth. Call your Dr. to be safe. Nancy

I'm having my surgery April 29th TOO! In DC w/ Dr. Paul Lin. That's so wild you are having Garth Davis, from Big Medicine! I've seen his surguries on TV and I think you'll do wonderful! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, it seems that we are all having the same feelings and thoughts. My surgery date is april 22nd, and I have had horrible dreams, because I go to bed with the surgery on my mind. It's as if I find peace, and then I am worried. I am just glad to know that others are feeling the same way. I began to think, is this really the right thing for me, especially when you have other people telling you, "You don't look like you need the surgery", well, I began to think, I have tried just about every diet, working out like crazy and I may lose 10 pounds in 6 months and then gain more than that. I'm tired of the Yo-yoing all the time. Then I think, they only see what is on the outside, not what is going on inside and besides, I want the real me back, that I have not seen in years. I know that me being happy is going to make my family much happier as well.

since my lap band i have had a weird taste in my mouth almost like a lead taste has anyine experienced this??
