Tomorrow's the day! I am having a LAP Band in the Boston area and will be sending good wishes to all of our surgeons. May they get lots of sleep tonight.

I am so sick of these shakes. They upset my stomach and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I seem to be getting questioned alot about my decision to have the lapband and this is starting to get old. I really feel like it is the right thing for me to do and I just need some encouragement.

Hello there, Good luck on your upcoming surgery, my date is on the 29th. I can relate real well to your state of mind. I am not so happy with this liquid diet stuff either and I constantly think that I 'm going to be the only one who can't do right after surgery. The surgery itself is driving me wild also. I can't explain but I am terrified and happy at the same time. I guess I need to think more positive, after all, so many of us here went through with it and are doing fine.. so once again, good luck , stay in touch.

I like the vanilla shakes. i tried the chocolate, strawberry and the mocha and I thought I was going to heave from the taste. I actually called EAS to ask them about the shakes and they are sending me my money back since I can't return an open box. I also found Wal-Mart at least here in NY had them the cheapest. The grocery stores were like $2.00 more. Good Luck and keep me posted!
