Topic: RE: Hair Loss
I was about 6 months out, when all of a sudden, the bathtub had more hair it it each time I showered then my head did, I upped the protien, started taking bioten and using NIOXIN shampoo, I have little baby hair growing in, just remember, losing the hair is fast, getting it back is slow, so keep your chin up and get that protien in and it will pass.

Topic: Getting nervous!
My surgery day is TOMORROW! I'm addicted to OH and all the posts I'm reading. My normally super supportive husband is acting like nothing is different. He isn't in favor of me doing this, so his support has been forced at best. I know I must do what's best for me. I think he is nervous, too. Maybe after the surgery he'll come around. In the meantime, I'd love some extra encouragement and GOOD VIBES!! Wish me luck! And good luck to all those who have future dates!

Julie, Hi, Thanks so much for writing. I feel exactly the same as you! It is SO normal. Even before my kids were born by scheduled c-section I felt this way. Very much anticipating the births but nervous about the surgery and recovery. Now it should be somewhat easier as the incisions are very small, no aching breasts, and the kids are older! I'm finding my biggest worry (and it is so silly) is what to bring to the hospital. Since there will be a drain and IV (foley catheter removal the first day post-op) a shirt/top is moot. I'll keep you in my thoughts as we do this together at opposite ends of the country. Write back, let me know how you are doing. Andrea

Hi Andrea! My lap. RNY surgery is on April 30th too. I'm having mixed feelings now, excited and nervous at the same time. I'm assuming it's normal to feel like this before surgery. What about you? Julie
