I've lost a total of 37 pounds since 4/4... but only 2 pounds in the last 10 days. I finally started eating and exercising and I think my body is just repairing itself from the forced starvation that we've been through. So far, I'm still excited! Laura

Topic: Very sensitive to sugar
Hi all. I had surgery on April 25. I have found that I am very sensitive to sugar. Apple Sauce, Skim Milk even artificial sweetners make me feel awful. Has anybody had the same problem. I think I'll try again in a couple of weeks. Like I have been reading, Im missing food too. I miss being able to eat whatever I want. Its hard because I have two teenage daughters and I cant eat what they do. But I am slowly eating more normal. I was able to eat half of a sandwhich yesterday. First time I had bread. But it is all for the better right.

My scale does seem to working either for the last two weeks it does seem to have changed given a pound or two. I had my surgery 4-25-08. I hope it will start to change once our bodies come out of starvation mode. I just yesterday tried half a sandwich for the first time it was so good. I'm so sick of soup. Lets keep moving on. I decided to start walking more.

Hi! I also had my surgery on April 29th and the weight loss has slowed way down. I think I lost a total of 3 pounds this wee****ep reading on this board that a lot of people experience this around the 3 week mark, but wow is it hard!! It is so easy to start slipping back to that old frame of mind where you think that no matter what you do, it will never happen. We just have to keep our chin up and hope for the best! Good luck to you! Lisa
