Topic: RE: NEED MENU IDEAS FOR LUNCHEON-PLEASE PLEASE!
Make a meat loaf with green bean casserole for your luncheon. Or seafood salad spread or lobster spread with crackers. You can eat that too. Salisbury steak is good for your lunches. You can get a round pumpernickle bread the size of a small pizza. Cut the top off (save the top) Dig out the middle (save the bread) and fill it up with Spinach dip from Kroger. Then cut the top and middle bread you cut off and took out and chop it up into small peices and decorate it around the big loaf on a big plate to dip with. You can't have the bread but you can also offer crackers with it. Just some ideas.

Here are things I am very comfortable eating in front of people so that it doesn't seem like I am dieting. LOL.
1. Boca Veggie Burgers (simply heat it up, you could put some low fat cheese on top of poor just a little bit of tomato soup (Yamm);
2. Boiled eggs with shredded cheese (no heating, very convenient in the office setting);
3. Fish, prepare home, heat it up in the office (My personal choise, I live of off it);
Good Luck

Topic: NEED MENU IDEAS FOR LUNCHEON-PLEASE PLEASE!
Hi everyone!
I will be attending a luncheon next week and everyone has to bring a dish-any ideas at all for something I could bring that I can eat and won't seem like weird diet food for everyone else at the table? I'm also REALLY looking for ideas for hot lunches at work and also portable lunches for times without a microwave..I'm so sick of crackers and tuna and it seems that's all I can think of.
Any ideas would be soooo appreciated!!
Thanks!!!

Topic: RE: Happy One Month for all April 28th Surgery People
Hi there,
Just found that this message board exists! I was on the Arizona board, but have moved to California this past week, and that board seems to be quite large.
My RNY was also 4-28. I have lost a total of 22 lbs including 7 on the 2 week pre-op diet. I am currently experiencing an 8 day stall also, but I chalked it up to not eating regularly since I have been traveling/moving in for the last week. I was beginning to be pretty worried since I have been eating less than usual and different things. In a way, glad to hear that other folks have stalled in this first month.
Thanks all.
