I stuck to my pledge for Halloween, but..... not the last two days. Had 2 small pieces each day. Tooted up a storm but didnt dump. Wish I did. But if you look at the big picture, its sooo much less than I would have eaten preop.  Guess you have to look at the positive right. Do I feel guilty? No. Dont feel deprived. Didnt miss anything. Love how my RNY keeps me in control!!!

That's a good pledge for me, but unfortunately I already fell off the wagon with a symphony bar my daughter stuck on the table, I had two little squares, so, so good and probably not a good thing---- it did not bother me at all... go figure... I am not planning on pushing it though, but I would like another taste halloween.... good luck...

You are sooooo brave.  I'd be afraid I'd dump.  I have'nt had any real candy yet, although I sometimes will eat Low Carb Effect Dark Chocolate from Trader Joes, but only two squares. I think I'll see how you do first.

I, too, am cold all the time, but, I also live in MAINE!  haha!  I have a heated mattress pad that I've been cranking up to high before I go to bed, so it's really comfortable now!  Sad that I have to use it in October though!!!!!!!   I have a feeling that my sweatshirts are going to be my best friends this winter!

Congrats on your loss!   I, too, went from 2-3x and just bought a size Medium jacket!  It's pretty cool, if you ask me!  haha (no pun intended!)
have a great day!

I live in the high desert of California and am cold all the time?  Guess its because I have lost my insulation.  Even wearing socks and very warm pj's to bed.  Also bought a new jacket in a Medium! Who would have thought.  From a 2x to a medium jacket.  Any one else always cold?

Topic: Halloween Pledge
I pledge to eat only one piece of Halloween candy.  No guilt trips, I know, not a good idea, but I know if I dont tell myself now that it will be only one piece it will drive me crazy all Halloween night. I also will not allow myself that piece unless I get all my protein and water in that day.  Anyone else want to pledge to only one piece?

Caroline - you are doing freakin' awesome. Don't worry so much about the numbers girl - the clothes sizes alone say it all. Isn't work so much easier now that we are slimmer? Bending over to empty that foley catheter sure is a whole lot easier right? Keep it up - and remember NURSES ROCK!
