Hi April RNY's,
Stepped on the scale this morning, 100# gone.  Cannot believe it.  Lost the equivalent of my youngest child and my dog combined.  20# to goal.  What a fantastic experience. Started out in 3X clothes and down to 12P slacks.  I feel like so many other, don't know how to shop but having fun learning!!!  I'll wait a year after stabilizing and then call the plastics doc.  But in the meantime, wow, I look and feel fabulous.  Thanks for all the support and compassion from all on OH.

Hello all,

I am down about 115# now, and am in a huge stall.  I have dropped from a 34 pant to a 22; have dropped from a 5x shirt to a xl/1x depending.  My skin is saggy at my belly and arms, and boobs.  I am still happy with my RNY.  I have never felt better; my confidence is up, people are really starting to notice my wt loss, which helps me to feel great too.  I am a little worried about the holidays, I have not really cheated yet, but I know the temptations at the holidays are going to be huge!!!  All of my labs just a week ago were great!!!!  Hoping to lose another 60# or so still. I was really hoping to be down to 199 by the end of the year, but I don't think that is going to happen.  I am at about 227 now.

Hope all my other April buddies are doing great too!!

I have hit a huge stall too!!!  Haven't lost anything in the last 3 weeks or so.  Haven't changed anything either!!!  Life has been very very stressful thought, so maybe thats it.  I am hoping to get back to a liquid diet for a few days, and see if that jump starts the weight again... not sure if it will work, but worth a try!!!

I think it's going to be a long winter.  I was cold all summer and now I am freezing all the time.  I wear fleece pj's to bed and socks.  I think this week I'm investing in a heated blanket!

Kittykatzmom...Don't feel so behind!  I too have lost 96lbs, and sometimes get frustrated with the scale.  But man, o man, I would not trade this surgery for the WORLD!!  I feel so much better...so much more energy...such smaller clothes!  I wore a size MEDIUM shirt to work today!  MEDIUM!!  I couldn't believe it.  Definitely a little WOW moment!  I look so forward to the future, to being a fully engaged and active Mom to my babies, and fully engaged and (sexually) active Wife to my hubby!...LOL..  Anywho...Just wanted to post to all my April friends and say Congrats and keep up the AWESOME work!!

Okay...I feel like the slow one here, I have lost 97lbs, gone from a size 24 to a 16 and have had 2 3 week stalls already, I get in all my Vits, try and walk atleast 2.5 miles aday, except in this real bad RAINY weather ( Washington  go figure), But I do feel great Just wish the scale would move better. CONGRATS TO ALL OF YOU.

It's been a great ride! I LOVE it!! I run a lot- train for races like a madwoman, so that has slowed me down on the weight loss a little bit... I will lose 2lbs, go 2 weeks, lose another 2 lbs... which is fine.

Trying to be dilligent about my vitamins, usually pretty good about them except I don't always get the 5x calcium in every day. Always get my water & I'm at the gym probably more than I should be.

I'm solidly in a size 6, even my feet have shrunk from an 11 to a 10, and everything just feels better. I've stopped shopping at vintage stores because I don't really think I should get too much smaller, and can now shop retail since the clothes will hopefully fit for a while!! Maybe another 10lbs, but that's it.

GOD. The best thing is that for once my new years resolution won't be "lose weight." Imagine that!
