I'm another April date! 4/2/2008....I'm so excited!! I didn't know I was even approved for the surgery until Friday 12/28 when they called with my surgery date, so I've missed the whole "got approval, waiting for a date" waiting period. That was weird. Anyway, I'm focusing on increasing my walking over these next three months, making sure our house is in order (financially and well organized) and spending lots of time with my girls! I'm looking forward to spending next summer chasing my girls around the backyard, and like you, hopefully by the time holiday season 2008 rolls around, I'm at or near goal weight. Looking forward to getting through this journey with some friends!

Well I don't know what I'm gonna go to pass the time. So far the holidays are flying by. I will have 3 1/2 months till surgery and I hope it will go by quickly. I'm going to take the time to get alot done in my house. We want to remodel a few things. Hopefully that will help. I'm not good at waiting for something, but I have been wanting this surgery for a few years now and knowing it's right around the corner is so exciting and almost dreamlike. Hope you had a nice Chirstmas. Thank you so much for writing back nice to make friends with someone who is sharing your surgery month. We can help each other thru our wonderful transformation.

Hi Michelle: I am scheduled too, for April 15th. Seems so far away, I have made some goals and identified some things I want to have done before surgery. But, still waiting is something I have never been so good at ;-p. What are you going to do to pass the time? Vicki

Well this is my first post....I'm finally scheduled for Lap RNY surgery on 22 Apr 08. A new year and a new me. At least I have one last everything. One last Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Birthday all before my surgery. I would not say it is my last hooh-rah, but it will not be all something new to have to deal with during the holidays. By the time all the holidays roll around for 2008 I will already be a pro and hopefully have lost all my weight. So if anyone is having surgery close to me and would like to be an email buddy to share each others experiences then feel free to email me. Talk to you soon. Michelle
