I have my last appointment with my PCP for my 6 month diet on 3/10/08, so I am looking at a April date. Probably the 2nd week of April. I would be happy with April 1st, just as long as it gets done. I am so excited.

I will be on Optifast. Wow 2 months for you. I thought 1 month was going to be long. How is it going so far? Anything else you are doing to prepare?

What kind of shakes will you be doing?
I am in the same boat. My doctor has me on Medifast shakes until the surgery-- two months of shakes, uh! But it will be worth it in the end.

I feel the same way! After all of these months of documenting this n that... we finally get approval but we have to wait another two months! It sucks!
But, it will be a good time for us to all get prepared for what we are going to be putting ourselves thru.

Finally have a date! Still need to do pre-op tests March 21st and if everything goes well we are green light. For that last month I am on liquid protean shake diet. That will be a challenge also. Would love to hear from someone else in this stage.
