Its so exciting!!! Its funny, I'm just as excited for everyone that posts as I am for myself. Probably because I know the hardships and the journey that we have all gone through to get here. The negative, the positive, the anxiety, frustration, and anticipation.... until finally we hear those 3 words we have been waiting for "approved" and "surgery date"

I understand. I am having a lot of emotions too! Its such a long process and that gives you a lot of time to think and stew. Its an exciting journey but can be stressful too. I seem to think about it all the time. One helpful hint I found on this website was to keep a journal. It has been great to go back and read what I have written. It also helps to put some of those emotions and thoughts on paper. Think it will be a good momento for the rest of my life. I am normally not a journaller but like this. Good luck.

Congratulations April is the new beginning for all of us. May you all have a safe surgery without complications, a speedy recovery and a bright new outlook on the future. For those who think we are taking the easy way out....they don't have a clue about the journey we are about to begin. 
Just stay strong. Take one day at a time and lean on one another. Remember we are all here to support one another so that no one goes through this journey alone.

Congrates on your date. I have the same date but I'm getting the VSG procedure. Keep in touch and let me know how your journey goes.
