Topic: April 3rd is my big day!
Just got my date today. 8am April 3rd. I have to pick up my Optifast on March 19th. If anyone wants to keep in touch during the whole time add me as a friend. I am looking for new "loser" friends! I am sooooooooo excited for everyone here too. We should all be proud of ourselves.

Thanks for the well wishes! I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. I want to tell everyone I see because I truly am looking at this as a new beginning, a re-birth. Finally I'm going to become the person I was always meant to be, on both the inside and on the outside.
I can't say that I'm not nervous about the surgery itself and the journey afterwards, but I think the excitement far outweighs the fear. Its going to be great. Hard, but great. And thats okay. I've been this way for 27 years, its going to take some work to undo it.
I hope as well that everyone has a safe and sucessful surgery!
