Congrats and good luck. I am also scheduled for April 2nd but for the VSG. I start my liquid diet 2 days before surgery so I got lucky there. Keep me informed on how you are doing.

I'm so excited! Its just around the corner now! I've been jumping through hoops for my insurance company since November and I finally got approved at the end of February! *hugs* Crystal

That is one thing the States has - you get your surgery covered through your insurance. I on the other hand - I had to pay out of my own pocket - $16,000. I look at it as Investing in myself - for the future - to see my 2 1/2yr old grow up and enjoy by life with my husband. My surgery is scheduled for the day before you! The liquid diet I am on now - it has really made me notice how much I was just eating because the food was there or the "habit" I call it. My addiction with food - I have had my whole life. Today is day 5 of the liquid diet - 10pounds gone so far. You can do it - just don't let your family cook or eat in front of you LOL :) I'm not hungry but it's the only time I want food - because I see them eating! haha

I'm so excited!! I got my new insurance letter Thursday after I decided to change surgeons. It took only 2 weeks to get each letter. I called the doctors office as soon as I read the letter and my surgery is on!! I have to be at the hospital at 8am on Wed, April 2nd and surgery is scheduled for 9:30am. I start my liquid diet Thursdays. I'm not looking forward to this but I know I can do it.
