Hot food tip for pureed/blenderized stage!
Hi all,
I had an open RNY on 4/29. After my 10 day post op visit yesterday, I was advanced to pureed foods. I had read on one of these boards a suggestion from A Happy Soul to puree a Lean Cuisine baked chicken florentine...OMG. It's awesome. I have a mini food processor that I used to make my kids baby food in...and it makes short work of whipping it up. It is tasty and delicious...and for 200 calories and 18 g of protein, it will get you out of the chocolate/vanilla/sf popsicle/soup blues in a hurry. Thanks to A Happy Soul for posting this!
