COLONIC BEVERAGE YuMMy!!!

Well folks its about that time to guzzle down my colocnic beverage... In prep for MONDAYS big day!!! I am calm now but we'll see, when I am scurrying to the pot in hopes of not soiling myself!!

I am pre op 2+months and not far enough down the road to know about the colon prep, how many days out and have you been on liquids for two weeks??? Someone told to buy depends but I thought they were kidding?? Were they....I am very excited but it seems like an eternity until the end (or should I say the beginning) - I just have the nutritional counseling two more sessions - and then MY DAY WILL COME. Your help and comments would be greatly appreciated.

OMG!!!!! I just downed my yummy colonic beverage. OMG!!!!! OMG!!!!! I have to do it again tomorrow. OMG!!! OMG!!! My tummy feels like I swallowed a rock because I drank so much after it trying to get the salt out of my mouth....ahhhhh....I'm still gagging. Why can't we just take a pill...????? Isn't it nice to cry with someone?

Typing as fast as I can since I drank my little ****tail at 5pm today! Think I might change into a Depends for the rest of the evening....oh, and I still need to wash down FOUR Ducolax tabs in another hour!!!! What fun....but the good part is that the wait is almost over!

I feel your pain...depends sound like a good idea. Nice to have a sense of humor while you are prepping for surgery....ha. Why do you have to take Ducolax? What did you take for your "****tail". I had to drink a bottle of Phosphasoda yesterday and a bottle today. I am squecky clean....almost soap and water clean...ha. Sorry for the graphic content....I can't imagine if I had to take a Ducolax in addition.....yuck. Bless your heart. Well, tomorrow it is over. In less than 12 hours I will be FINISHED with surgery. I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 a.m. So, I'm going to bed and the next time I will be on here....I will officially be a loser. yippee...

OMG I don't know why they make you take ducolax plus the mag citrate! I have been in the bathroom every 15 minutes since 6pm!!! And it's nearly midnight!! All I know right now (and it's definitely TMI) is that my poor battered butt needs DESITIN STAT!!! All three pregnancies with 10 1/2 lb kiddies actually ripped me a new a#* hole that hasn't been right since! Ouch , ouch, OUCH OUCH!!!!! Do yourself a favor...seriously, consider getting some before doing the prep if your butt is prone to problems.
