Why am I always nausious?

I had the surgery 4 days ago and I can deal witht he pain but I can't deal with the nautiousness? Can anyone help with ideas or suggestions...

I am now 7 days out. For the first 5 days I was extremely nautious...I stopped taking the pain medication and have not had problems since. I don't know if that is what helped or if it just takes time...I feel much much better now and have noticed a remarkable difference each day that goes by...good luck

I am 7 days post oo (RNY) today!! Try chewable Gas X. I thought I was a bit sick to my stomach as I was leaving the hospital and the nurse told me that alot of the time is the pressure. The GasX worked great. I take it when I start to feel "funny". I even stopped my pain meds as the Gasx relieved all the discomfort! I have been for a car ride the last two days and took Gasx before and was completely fine. Plan to take it again tomorrow before my 2 hour drive back for my followup. I have not vomited once! Try it! It really worked for me.
