Surgery April 29th

My surgery is April 29th @ the Methodist in Houston, with Dr. Garth Davis. Starting to get a "little" nervous here. I am so scared and worried and on the other hand so happy and exited and sooo ready for this change. It's funny, all these feelings @ once. Anyone having surgery on the 29th??? I wish all of you brave people the best of luck!!

I'm having my surgery April 29th TOO! In DC w/ Dr. Paul Lin. That's so wild you are having Garth Davis, from Big Medicine! I've seen his surguries on TV and I think you'll do wonderful! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am having surgery on the 29th just like you. I am having RNY in Worcester, MA. I know just what you mean about feeling every emotion all at once. Am I really ready, this is so exciting, I'm scared, I cant wait...its almost unreal. Only 12 days away. Good luck you to hun, will keep you in my thoughts.

Wow, Garth Davis is your doctor. I love that show. That show was what changed my mind on the surgery. If it was not for that show I think I would not be where I am today with my surgery date three days away. I wish they would not have taken the episodes off the air here in Minnesota, I am having the open gastric, I wi**** would be laparoscopic, but my surgeon does not want to do it that way..
