Having Lap RNY on April 18th in Jacksonville Fl anyone else that day or same hospital?

Just looking for some friends going through RNY surgery the same time as me so we can compair and help one another, 1 week to go and I am scared and anxious and just want to make it through surgery and yell-I'M ALIVE!!!!! -Angela

Hi Angela I am not having lap RNY but am having VSG so I wanted to let you know that I will be sending positive thoughts to your surgeon on the 18th. Anxious and scared is normal so take something with you that comforts you. I am 41 and will be taking my butterfly pillow to hug when it is over. Hi Angela, I am having lap RNY on April 17th here in northern New York. I am so ready for this and I can't wait for Thursday to get here. Are you currently on a liquid diet? I have been on one since Tuesday, April 8th. It's not so bad. Anyway, good luck to you on Friday! Everything will go perfectly, I'm sure!! Hi Angelia I had a lap band 1 year ago April 18 07 I have come a long way .. for me it has been a slow loss but I am nearing wonderland soon. My higest weight was 295 and today I am 206.. good luck and congradulation. surgery was a not bad.. the real weight loss begins with your fill .. BUT keep in mind weight may not come flying off real fast tell probally like your 3 rd fill but everyone is different.. u could be the lucky one and start right away.. congradulation on making the decison for a lap band come see me in april 07 boards any time Lisa
