Have no "full" sensation... is this normal? Trying to gauge food intake now I'm on pureed foods/ full liquids. Do not want to stretch the pouch. 1/4 cup of food? 1/8th cup? Please anyone with advise!!!!

Hi, I read your post. I had my RNY on March 17th and what you describe is my biggest complaint. I never feel full (satisfied) I either feel empty and hollow or nauseated. I am on pureed foods. The baby foods seem to be the best so far. I keep telling myself it's gonna take time for my new stomach to acclimate. Good luck! Suzanne M

I had the RNY bypass. surgery was about 3 hrs total (1 hr pre op, 1 1/2 hr surgery, and then post op) Lapriscopic. Pain has subsided( except if I cough or sneeze) and that was 3-4 day's post op. Great day to have surgery, my birthdat is the 28th. Good luck to you and God bless!
