April 7 is the date!!!
Just got approved. I was originally set for June 24th but was changed to April 7th. WOW!!! Very happy but nervous. Anyone out there have any pointers? Preop app't is tomorrow. I wasn't ready for this to happen so fast. How much pain is involved post op. That's one thing i'm really worried about. I don't handle pain meds well. Keep me in your prayers.

My surgery is on the same day! I have the same worries. I am single and I live alone. My friend is coming with me for support but I am worried about waking up in a lot of pain also. My mother and my aunt had it done and they said with the meds it is not all that bad but everyone is different. I will think of you on our surgery date!!
My surgery date is April 7th too! I am extremely nervous and the more I think about it, the more nervous I get. But I also get happier thinking of who the new me will be! My doctor does not have me on a pre-op diet, but I have seen many many people who are on pre-op diets. I wonder why there is a difference. Well, good luck to you and me!

Welcome to the April 7 club! I start my pre-op diet tomorrow. I had my last meal today with family. I don't know what the difference is. This pre-op diet is supposed to shrink the liver and mine is enlarged, maybe you don't have to shrink yours. I'm still very nervous and I keep waundering if I'm doing the right thing.
