Discouraged and Frustrated

UGH! I have been working for 6 months for my surgery and I had 7 days to go...then I get the dreaded phone call from the surgeons office. My surgery has been moved out 2 weeks! I feel bad for my doctor because he got injured skiiing (I think that is what she said...I was a little taken back to listen properly) and can't do surgery for 3 weeks. She said he would do my surgery either April 14th, 15th or 16th. They will call and let me know. My fear is when that time arrives they will tell me he still can't do the surgery and push me out again. I had taken off the time from work, my eldest daughter took off the week, my boyfriend took off the week, I had to make arrangements for my youngest so she could still attend school and had to change her bus route and get special permission etc with the school system, book the hotel room and rent a car .... now I have to UNDO everything and do it all again later. UGH Oh well, thanks for listening to me vent. Hope everyone else is doing well. Sorry all my surgery date sisters....guess we won't have our surgeries together after all.

Awww I'm sorry to hear that! Thats tough and I know I would be upset, but just try to be positive. You'll get there. If its meant to happen for you then it will happen. I know it must be a huge disappointment and very frustrating, but maybe there's a bigger reason why your surgery had to be pushed back besides the surgeon injuring himself. Just stay positive! It WILL happen
