April 2nd is the BIG Day
I'm so excited!! I got my new insurance letter Thursday after I decided to change surgeons. It took only 2 weeks to get each letter. I called the doctors office as soon as I read the letter and my surgery is on!! I have to be at the hospital at 8am on Wed, April 2nd and surgery is scheduled for 9:30am. I start my liquid diet Thursdays. I'm not looking forward to this but I know I can do it.
That is one thing the States has - you get your surgery covered through your insurance. I on the other hand - I had to pay out of my own pocket - $16,000.
I look at it as Investing in myself - for the future - to see my 2 1/2yr old grow up and enjoy by life with my husband. My surgery is scheduled for the day before you!
The liquid diet I am on now - it has really made me notice how much I was just eating because the food was there or the "habit" I call it. My addiction with food - I have had my whole life. Today is day 5 of the liquid diet - 10pounds gone so far.
You can do it - just don't let your family cook or eat in front of you LOL :)
I'm not hungry but it's the only time I want food - because I see them eating! haha
April 2nd here too! We're so very close! Just one week from today we will be celebrating our new beginning and beginning the road to recovery both from surgery and from obesity. I'm so excited I don't know what to do with myself. I felt like it would never get here and now I know the next week is going to go sooo fast! Yay for us! Congrats to you!
