Congratulations to Everyone

Congratulations April is the new beginning for all of us. May you all have a safe surgery without complications, a speedy recovery and a bright new outlook on the future. For those who think we are taking the easy way out....they don't have a clue about the journey we are about to begin. Just stay strong. Take one day at a time and lean on one another. Remember we are all here to support one another so that no one goes through this journey alone. Please keep me informed on your journeys and if you need someone to share with...I'm here. Debra Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear.

Thanks for the well wishes! I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. I want to tell everyone I see because I truly am looking at this as a new beginning, a re-birth. Finally I'm going to become the person I was always meant to be, on both the inside and on the outside. I can't say that I'm not nervous about the surgery itself and the journey afterwards, but I think the excitement far outweighs the fear. Its going to be great. Hard, but great. And thats okay. I've been this way for 27 years, its going to take some work to undo it. I hope as well that everyone has a safe and sucessful surgery!
