You can google it if you like. MedGem or BodyGem. It will explain it better than I can.
You can not eat or drink (excep****er) for 12 hours before and you sit in a quiet room and breath into a machine for 5 to 7 min. It calculates how many calories you need to maintain your weight on the low and high side. It gives you the RMR or also known as resting metabolic rate. RMR accounts for up to 75 percent of our daily metabolic need. It is proven to be very accurate and will run you between $60.00 and $125.00 which usally includes a consult with the NUTT. It helped me to understand exactly how many claories I need to maintain my weight and also how many I need to still loose. My RMR was 1360 which is LOW and No surprise.
For me, it was worth it to know exactly how many calories I need. Like I said.......look it up on the internet. It will explain it in detail.
Glad you are getting better and healing!
huggs,
Rhonda
