Thank You for being honest. I was really getting concerned and did not know if this was normal or not. It is nerve racking wearing this support garmet and not being able to wear any of my pants that I could wear before surgery. I reallty hopes this ends soon. I thought doing this surgery would make my clothes fit much better. I guess it takes time.

Wish I could I had it done in october and I still have a lot of fluid and even though I had 20 pound of skin off I have no weight loss of course I think that is contributed to me gaining weight not losing.

I had surgery done on March 18, 2009 (Panniculectomy). I am still having swelling and can not wear any of my pants. Is it anyone that has had this done that can tell me how long does the swelling last?

I will be doing my yearly cleaning of my storage room (first of May) and am sure I have summer clothes in your size. Will you have a need for dresses? I gave my sister-in-law a ton of clothes but still have more. You are welcome to them, just send me your address & I will mail them to you. I am ready to get rid of them. Lemme know.

Hello Shar and ATeam!
Tomorrow will be my 2 year anniversary. I am overwhelmed with emotion the last few days. My life is soooo much better than before. Food does not play a major role in my life anymore, altho I still have struggles. I knew it would be hard because we own a meat market and deli which puts me in fromt of food everyday. I just had to decide how bad I wanted it. If it had not been for the support from each of you and sharing your struggles and obsticles, my journey would have been so hard. Today I am dedicated to have a better life, and maintain a healthy body.
This week I lost 1 lb! That is a loss for 3 weeks in a row! It don't look like I will reach my goal of 165 by my birthday but at least I am loosing again. My 2yr check up was cancelled b/c of Dr. emergency but I am rescheduled for Tuesday.
