Thanks.  I cut out the solid food for the past couple days and have been drinking liquids like crazy.  I'm finally getting some relief.  And i've lost 4 pounds.  bonus.

i have an appt with my surgeon in a couple of weeks for my two year check up and one with my pcp in a couple days.  things are moving now.  a bit squishy but no pain except for gas.

thanks for the advice.

Hello A team
Well I just got home from wisconsin visiting my granny. It was very boring and all I did was sleep and eat. I have had no energy lately all I do is sleep cry or eat. I feel like a failure but that is just me. My son is sick and had to do the hospital checking for wooping cough or phnomonia misspelled.
I was sick for 2 weeks and was worried but I think I am finally getting better and getting sme energy. I work friday and sat at the post office and I love my job I just wi**** was full time.
last time I weighed myself I was 225.

Thanks.
I was actually very close to goal but have gained a few lately.  I fell way off the wagon and am just really trying to get back on it.  i think that is why this happened.  i cut out my popcorn habit and i think losing that fiber has had bad consequences.
I've actually started feeling a little better as the day has gone.  don't want to go into too many details but i went for a long walk and  i've been drinking this new pink lemonade metamucil (kinda yummy actually) and i've made a few productive trips though nothing solid.  is that still a blockage?  that's pretty scary.

thanks for the help.

i would love to drink the pineapple juice but i'm afraid it would have way too much sugar.  i feel just awful when i have too much sugar.

thanks again.

Well they can do it by going in and doing a heart cath which is to speed up the heart rate and see if the QT inervals are long or short and they can also do genetics testing about 70% of the people that have Long Q T show up in the genetics test unfortunally my daughter is NOT one of that 70% but since she has had the pacemaker she has not had any episodes of cardiac arrest (THANK GOD) so her doctor is confident that he has done the right diganosis i wish you luck in your journey to find answers ... I hope I have helped some.
BTW the doctors around here kept telling me that she was having epileptic (msp) episodes and that she would probally grow out of them... But after seeing a pediatric nurologist they told me it wasn't her brain and that until the heart was ruled out they wouldn't see her anymore so that is when we went to birmingham to a pediatric Cardiologist (Dr. LAU wonderful doc) when she was 3 years old we finally got some answers but for 2 years we were begging for answers and noone had them so I know how scary it is to not know what is happening or has happened to your baby.
May God Bless, Gloria

Edited to say ... they can also do a stress test on the person and look at the QT interviles but that is hard to do on a small child ... my 12 yr old had it done and he had to stop before his heart got to the proper speed so I wouldn't suggest that type of test for a small child but each doctor is different so I wish you the best.
Take Care & God Bless, Gloria

Hey  Heather
Sounds like u r having a intestinal blockage.. I think you probally need to seek some medical attention I think u have reached where all the tradtional methods have not worked. I suffer from severe constipation all the time. I do not drink much fluids as I  should  especially during winter months. I have tried warm prune juice  works like a charm and lately I find drinking pineapple juice works real well, Alittle to well in fact. I was told for my upcomming surgery to drink 3 glasses a day and man I am going so much like a colon cleanser LOL
Congradulations on 2 year surgery date!!!
Are you at goal?

Topic: Maybe TMI but I'm having a problem.

First, let me say how much I appreciate all the support that this group gives one another.  I don't post much but read alot and get much inspiration from the posts.

Second, I'm having trouble pooping.  I haven't had a real BM since Wednesday night.  I've had little sputtering starts but nothing of any substance.  Sorry, I know that's gross but there's really no other way to describe it.

I've been bloated to the point where my clothes are extremely uncomfortable and my lower stomach area hurts.

I've taken x-lax and milk of magnesia last night and still no major movement.

Help please.  Any suggestions or ideas or anything would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much.

BTW, Thursday will be my 2 yr date and I have lost around 95lbs.  I weighed 224 the day of my surgery.  My heighest was around 245.
Thanks again.
Heather

So much of the research is focusing on long qt but what is happening alot of chikdrens autopsy are not looking over qt and info is lost, They hope to educate how autopsy are done to rule out Qt but so much vital info is lost as they are not looking at that. I bet it can be so scarry to almost lost your daughter 6 times. We had a  adult friend die last year to  long qt and they ruled it sudden unexplained death in adult hood  she was only 32 years old and left 5 children  behind. No warning . Our children have gone threw extensive tests but I am wondering how do they diagnosis long qt ? Thanks for writing
