Hugs and kisses back at ya Dee - I know the feeling, I keep some 3x jammies that I love so much but they do make me feel pretty strange (in a comfy sloppy sort of way!)
You're doing great and us long-term losers have to stick together

Kimberly,
Congrats on your surgiversary and your success this past year.
I hope your CT scan finds out the reason for your pain and helps you resolve it. Please let us know how you're doing!!

Topic: Thank you !!
Thank you to everyone with encouraging words. I just feel like I should be further then I am and then my depression kicks in. I am so thankful for this life changing surgery! I am healthy I can run jump play. I do find myself still sitting out and watching a lot with my kids because when I run the stomach hurts from the hanging skin. I do race my kids occasionally to funny mu stomach hanging almost pulls my pants down when I run.
I have never been the slave to the scale for me just Sundays. I just felt fat this week and did not want to upset my self. I have days when I feel thin and healthy and there is those other day like sweat pant days and feel awful kinda funny because before surgery I only wore sweats, now when I put them on I feel as big as I was before surgery. I would burn then but man I am SO much colder with out my 120 pounds keeping me warm. I am looking forward to summer but I am counting down the days till Christmas season for my tummy tuck!
I am so glad I have you guys keeping me grounded when I fell crappy!!!
XOXOXOXOXOXOX
Dee
Topic: MIA and 1 year Surgerversary
Hi gang, I know I have been MIA but a lot has gone on in the last 2-3 months and I just did not have the energy to come online.
Well my dad died unexpectedly at 61 years old and it has really been an adjusting period. Anywho
Well, I hit my year on the 23rd and I feel great. My weight loss has slowed but I look good!
I will update my pics on tonight and put in a post to let you guys know they are up.
I have missed everyone and the support.

Topic: One Year Surgiversary
Today is my one year surgiversary and I can't beleive it went so fast. I think I am one of the last people to have surgery in the month.
Before my surgery I weighted 345 lbs. As of this morning, I weight 180lbs. I can't beleive that 165 lbs are gone (hopefully) forever.
What a difference a year makes in your life when all that extra weight has disappeared. It really is amazing. I do get aggravated with people who tell me I took the "easy" way out. I don't know about you guys, but for me, there was nothing easy about this process. It really is hard, especially if you have complications. For example, today I am going for a CT scan because I have horrible abdominal pain and becuase my brain and my intestines are no longer communicating.
I just want to say thank you for everyone's support and posts on here. It would have been difficult to get through this without everyone.
Best of luck to all of us in the coming year and the rest of our new lives!!!!

Topic: RE: Sunday Weigh In
Hi all,
Great to hear how everyone is doing. I am at the same weight this week - between 123-123.8...pretty much same as last week but not as low as I was 1 month ago. I realized I have really increased my intake on some days...I can eat alot more than I used to and per my docs recommendations, I did increase my calories and carbs, so this is likely why my weight loss has stopped. I should be happy but I liked being a few # thinner! Oh well, I HAVE to be happy with my appearance and get over it. 3# lighter means NOTHING compared to the #121# I have lost this year. AND, I rode my bike for the first time in years with my kids for several miles and THEY tired out before I did! AWESOME!
Take care all!
