Oh man, my whole childhood was spent in a car with the windows rolled up, and both parents in the front seat smoking! I used to get SO carsick every trip. Ah, the past-wan't it lovely!?

I went for my check up and I am 227 on his scale which I was 244 on his scale 5 months ago so to me that is awesome!!!
My surgeon is very happy with my progress!!
We discussed the tummy tuck with the hernia repair. It is going to cost me and arm and a leg but he say looking at the skin and feeling it there is 25-30 pounds of skin that will be removed!!!
I am so excited that will put me around my personal goal!!!
I have been feeling like I was not losing enough but then after today I am really happy because my weight left is in hanging skin. I need my thighs done but that will be about 2 years before I can afford that. I will be paying this forever!!
So I am scheduled for my tummy tuck on Oct 22!!!! I am so excited I can't even describe the happiness I feel right now!!!
While I was in the office one of his employees was working who he did a tummy tuck on 2 weeks ago and she ooked amazing! she just had the 2 drain taken out that day and she was back at work 1 week later. She had had 3 c sections so her line was a little higher than bikini but WOW it look amazing for only 2 weeks old!
OK I am super super excited!!!

Topic: looking for a good plastic surgeon in IL/st.louis area
i am about 9lbs away from getting my consultation for a tummy tuck and arms being done. i need some good referrals on surgeons. please help. i have sooooooooooooooo much extra skin. my highest weight was 375lbs.. 342 when i had my surgery (4-16-07) and 169 now. (yey!!!!) any suggestions?

Try not to worry about it. I have a heard murmor and it really is no big deal. Sometime you may need antibiotics before dental work, but that's it.
However, I do agree with you about wondering if being fat was better. I find that I hav emore issues now that I am thinner then I did when I was heavy. It is getting really frustrating.

I only check in here periodically now. I maintaining in the 130's. I broke my arm on Labor Day and am having surgery on Tuesday to repair it using plates and screws. Ouch... I do try to update my blog and my youtube account. I kind of backed off for a bit bc I was busy w work and DJ and I were split up. We are back together trying to see if there is anything left of our marriage... Ugh. When did they change this board over to the new format? I'm off to go read everyones updates!

Lisa, hmmmm.... (what was it Arsenio did when he had his talk show? Things that make you go 'hmmmmmmmmm'...) Of course there are other things that cause ear infections (swimming, anyone?) but I really think in my case it was my parents' smoking. We were Congressman's kids, so at least four times every year (sometimes more) we were cooped up in the car for three days driving from Washington DC to Raymond, Mississippi or from Raymond to Washington. That's cooped up with what amounts to a chain smoker and a not-so-chain smoker. I also got car sick a lot; that had to be the smoking as well. You're lucky that you were known to be allergic. Didn't have to put up with that.

yup the weight just falls off men ,, have u noticed the men have just fallen off the A team board as well.LOL.. of course they have they are skinny and don;t need us.. Men are so lucky ..
