dee came through the surgery without ny complications. She will spend the night in the hosital and be on her way home tomorrow. If I hear anything further, i will let you all know.

Well her last post was she was sewing up a storm . I live pretty close to inky but I have never talked to her on phone. I was hoping one day to meet her but now I am just hoping now she will come back to us. we miss u inky

That is what the tools is for is to be tighten more after we have lost more weight the fat around the band was lost during the intial 40 lbs weight loss So i sure hope u can get in asap and continie your weight lost i had 7 fills tell my sweet spot june on ward is when i lost majority of my weight loss.
Your part is regular apts with the doc and do not hesitiate to keep going back when u see your progress slow down
I bugged my doc tell i was just right.I hear alot of people are intimated by their doc to go in and ask for a fill which is why i picked a doc i could be open and honest with and i told him i am doing my part now do your part and he has been a great doc in the partner ship in my weight loss. My doc is proud of me.
Congradulations on your 40 pound weight loss I did not lose more than 10 at first

Glad you posted this Shar. I've been wondering what happened to Inky. Haven't seen her around in a long time. Hope everything is ok with her.... and she's just busy enjoying life!

you areright, i am eating about 8 oz of food. i really need a fill. I was doing well until the last few months. I am eaing more tha 1200 cal. I really hope I can get into the dr. to get this taken care of very soon. I am also getting back into the training, I glad you responded keep checking on me and I will keep checking in with you all. I am the queen of fills and plateau The secret is finding the sweet spot with your band most lap banders who are slow losers are not very tight and eat way to much to lose. if u r eat more than 4 oz serving 3 times a dsay u r earing way to much food .. eating 1200 calories is not much food when u really look at it, I got metablosim moving with high intesity training. I was a slow loser tell i got another fill that would only allow me to eat 3 oz meal and increase my exercise to drop to 184. keep checking in will get u moving in right direction

I think I have hit a plateau, I have loss 40 lbs, and I haven't loss any more. I am really getting dicouraged. banded in 4/2007; I hadn't been able to get into my Dr. in 4 or 5 months witha reschedule.... what did anyone do to get back ont rack and see losses again... is anyone feelin me on this. I thought I would be at least 100 lbs down by now, but guess not... helpful hints welcome.

Yom Kippur is the holiest day in the Jewish religion. I will be in synagogue Wed evening and for the most part of Thursday. So..............while I am there,I will slip in a prayer for you! Good luck and give Dr. F a big kiss for me

On yum kippur are you not allowed to talk on the phone or is it just so much to do with the holiday? I don't really know what the holiday is for but I hope you have a great one!!!
