I think I heard once that when you work your muscles they tend to absorb or retain more water. That might not be right exactly but I think it is probably just temporary.
I haven't been as dedicated to the gym or even my walking as i would like but i have done really well on my food intake. I've cut out my night time snacking and only allow myself like a 100 calorie pack of cheez-itz or almonds or something like that to take care of the night time munchies. I like salty things. I could go ages with no sweets but anything salty and i am all over it. I've lost a few pounds though I'm positive that its water cause i have been drinking like a fish and making lots of trips to the little girls room.
About how many calories are you taking in per day? Do you keep up with it?
I've been journaling since tuesday and i've averaged about 1000 per day. is this too much or too little? averaged somewhere around 65 - 70 grams of protein.

Ok i am getting discouraged as I been hitting the gym and working out 2 hours plus a day and I gained a pound I hope it is swelling from muscle building. I am watching my food and keeping with ther program just hope it is temp weight gain for waht ever reason, Did not think muscles builds that fast

Thanks. I actually don't mind having my picture taken now. I used to hide whenever someone got out a camera.
BTW, how is your challenge going? I'm doing pretty good. I've been journalling everything i eat and went for an hour long walk today at lunch. I'm actually feeling better too.

I can only do cardio so I am going to really start walking more. I still am on a ifting restriction still nothing over 20 pounds. really tired today will write more later

Glad to see you on board..!!!! I will be checking every couple in a couple of days on everyone to see how we all are doing.. I feel like Rockey .. Getting ready for the fight LOL
I hate the chew monster .. but I must admit when it gets so bad I do the chew and spit method. May gross out
people around me but the cats love the prospects of left overs
