2 YEAR SURGEON CHECK UP

I saw my surgeon today and he was so pleased with my progress. His office manager didn't even recognize me. Wow! My surgeon wants to feature me as a success in a magazine article. He said I will be "a star." I am to write up my experience, what led up to my decision to have surgery, how life is now, etc. Also they will publish before / after pictures. Very exciting. But, I am still hesitant to put my weight in print for the world to see.
We also talked about hernia repair and tummy tuck. He said I have a tremendous amount of flesh needing to come off.....20-25 pounds worth. I want this sugery so desperately, but I just don't know how I can do it, financially.
It is so hard to believe it's been 2 years...and as we all know, the fight is just beginning.

That's sounds exciting.  Don't be ashamed of your weight, past or present,  you look beautiful    YOU'VE COME A LONG WAY BABY... Celebrate what you have achieved!!   Your words will inspire others.  You've certainly been an inspiration to me,

Shar, that is such exciting news.  Wow a star in our A-Team!!    I would also like to have a tummy tuck and a breast lift, but at 12,000 dollars it just isn't in my budget either.  And at 60 years old, not sure it would be feasible.   Jan

Shar u simply look great with your new avatar. I think u are stuck like me with excess skin dept and probally don;t need to lose any more weight u have lost so much and what is left  is plan skin. I think all i have left is skin to lose in my legs. I think 15 lbs I have left are probally not comming off unless I cut it off LOL Wow u look sooooooooooooooo good Shar.. u really do. I think it is a honor to be asked to be featured on magazine Shar. Really shows he thinks u did a amazing job, we know u did  for sure here at OH  ,, Congradualtions
