Ok everyone I am doing ok after surgery recovering nicely just had some major bleeding on table but Doc quickly got it under control and packed me with this black gel to control the bleeding  I had so  much Pressure and pain that the post recovery is less pain now that before surgery.

Ty Shar for checking up on me you are a a sweetie,So sorry about your coworker passing on.

Have to say sorry for my aprupt removal of some of my posts had my mental breck down last week I figured everyone was probally getting sick  tired of what is going on.I was LOL.

I know everyone has been so supportive of me and ty for all the love and support,Was all about me being in a bad place and not about anyone said or did. I am not a really strong person as people think I am.

Please keep my  son in your prayers as he is having lap band surgery today, It is out of town and due to my recent surgery I am unable to travel  the long distance 2 1/2 hrs to beverly hills where he is having his  surgery but his dad took him down and surgery is  scheduled at 11:30. My son is 22. I will talk to him before he goes in and told him I will be with him in spirt and thought today. Was hard to let him go this am but my little boy is growing up. We did not want to postpone his surgery as he is starting back at college next week. He really wanted to get alot of weight off before he transfered to 4 year univeristy next year. So we all decided he will go ahead and have it and Mom will be waiting for the phone call. My son is racing againist time as being morbid obese and having the same clotting disorder as his sister and she stroke out at age 19 we figured it was best to press on with the wls  surgery. We are just upset the surgery was postponed due to insurence issues should have been done a month ago. But we feel blessed he is having it done while others wait years. Kyle highest weight was 313 lbs and just prepping for surgery being on protien drinks  has  already dropped 10 lbs since friday whoohoooooooooo, His goal is to be 190, His new life begins today. Kyle is making medical history as he is first adult they have done who is autistic and all psychologist feel he is mentally prepared and so wanting this surgery, Before they would not touch someone who had this disorder. But because both his parents had Wls they know that we live and breather this new life style and the love and support of home is behind him.

Proud  MOM

I am sending positive thoughts his way.
Good for him to get it done now instead of waiting like so many of us did and missing out on life.

Welcome back Lisa! I'm so glad you came back to us... we would be lost without you! I'm even happier to hear your surgery went well with no marjor complications and you are on the road to recovery. That's something to celebrate!!! And psshh on you for thinking you are not a strong person. Even strong people have their breaking point. We are all entitled to those times just as long as they don't consume us and paralize us. You had a very full plate and have been in full motion for a quite sometime now... so it was only natural for you to have an emotional break down. No shame in that. We all struggle from time to time and every now and then we need to take a break to refocus and pull ourselves back together. You are doing amazing all considering!

Here is a favorite quote of mine that I hope inspires you.....

"Hope is like a sky full of stars... whether we see them or not doesn't
change the fact that they are always there.
Truly, it is not until the night is
at its very darkest... that
we see them shine the most clearly."

Isn't that beautiful? And so true too. We need the darkness sometimes in order to see the beautiful stars that are shining so brightly!

Congrats on your son's surgery today. He will be in my thoughts & prayers today. It's wonderful that he has his family to support him through this and how fortunate he is to have this surgery done so early on in his life!

That is such a beautiful quote.  ty so much that is so true and perfectly put,
I just felt so awful and sick. Not to mention the mounting medical bills and night mare. We have good insurence and Angelica  and my surgery we have met out deductiable of 7k in jan already  and we have the money being taken out over the pay check for the rest of the year but not 7k in one month and of course everyone wants the full balance when u show up at docs apts etc but I cannot keep robbing my household budget to pay medical bills what a logistical night mare,I am broke tell pay day and I have daughters b day on jan 17, Am I alone in this? I am thankful I do have a working hubby he has a good job. I mean we are far better off then most but first of the year is tough on us as we live credit card and debt free Most docs office want full balance of deductiable to be paid off and with my surgery and her staying at CNS I made payment arrangements but tell insurence gets the deducutable met in the system everyone thinks we owe the full amount ugh a night mare. Only thing that saves us is tax refund but tell then every jan we do this and for my 50 th b day we will have no money. It sucks to have b day in jan no one can afford to buy you anything lol Christmas holidays took the extra money and this year we went very very lean for christmas I spent 1k this year for a family of 11 less than 100 per person
