re help

hi i had my sergery on april 3 07 i have done great up till now and now i seem to have fallen off the wagon how do we jump back on give me some ideas on what to do i have come way to far to go backwards now...  any input would be great i need this help...  what do you all eat ina day what are your snacks the amounts you eat etc anything will help me get back on and stay on

I too had surgery April 07 and I understand TOTALLY!!  I have to weigh constantly to make sure I stay where I want to be.  I want to stay between 145 and 150.  If I find myself going over the 150 mark, I will pull out my book and write down everything that goes in my mouth for a couple of days.  If you are writing it down, you are a lot less likely to eat crap!  weigh it and measure it!    Eating a lot of soup helps too if you need to get that tight feeling back in your tummy.  Limit all slider foods!  my weakness is at night, i allow myself airpopped popcorn.  Chips and nuts would be my preference, but the calories,,, oh the calories!!!  We have come WAY to far to slide back now.  Stay strong!!!  Another thing that helps, is go back to the protein.  It builds muscle mass and keeps the hunger away. Basically, always go back to the basics!!  Cut calories and exercise! Good Luck!

I think apples and carmel sause make a great snack and 100 calories pop  corn works I swear beans r my life savor and key to weight loss, And I make this low calorie custard. I love soup helps me feel satisfield for hours. You are not alone and so good to see you here

Amy, OH has a new group called BOTT- Back On Track Together. I just joined it this week.You will find alot of friendly people who are in the same situation. They are all working toward the same goal. Getting back on track and back to basics!
