The way the doc told me I was ready to have surgery was I had thin arms legs and doing all the exercise i can . I am so skinny with my arms and legs and yup i was ready. So i documented all the rashes and back aches to quilify for my insurence to pay for tummy tuck pannis must hit the thighs (I will give u more details and tricks of the trade to get a tummy tuck if u want)
How big did it streach your pouch? kinda confused what happed about it self tightening.
Keep the exercise going as this is truely the key to sucessful weight loss. I am working out so hard to tone up and build muscle. and I can eat more when i do

Ps we are here for you
I'm not sure how it tightened either. I found the sweet spot and was good for a little over a year, then all of a sudden nothing was getting through. Liquids would only go through if i ate with them. Food weighing more would force its way through. I say the pouch expand and hang over the sides of the band. They say that's not good. I am back to stressing over calories and such, but I t hink I will be ok. Through this journey I have learned how to eat much better than before. As long as i stick with it I hope it will work out.

wow 127! thats great, i am 175 was 165 but since thanksgiving i have gained 10 pounds plus i wasnt aking my water pill, i need to get more protein in and work my tool b.c i dont get hungry but i have been eating to much ramen lately and thats alot of starch plus i find myself grazing more, any suggestions?
Hi in Louisville - you live near me. I live in Knoville. I have some of the same standard suggestions but they are tried and true and really do work. I journal my food 80% of the time on sparkpeople.com - it really holds me accountable and is helping me to re-learn how to manage my food daily. I haven't log my food in a couple of weeks and have eaten want I have wanted to within reason and am celebrating b/c I haven't gained any weight. I attribute this to being very conscious of what I'm eating and really knowing how many calories I"m getting. I also try and get all my water in daily, take my vitamins, don't drink with my meal or 1 hour after...all the things they teach us. To help myself with grazing, I try and eat small meals 5 times a day. Now, I haven't been as faithful to that over the past couple of weeks but I've been trying. My Dr.'s office considers a 10 pound gain as the "danger zone" and recommends an office visit immediately if there's a gain. Are you doing OK? Do you need some more help? :)
Peace!
