people can be so rude!!!!

My faith in human nature sometimes I question, Friday night we met our 19 daughter that had the stroke at the movies. The place she is going to school to gain here nuero skills back was taking severeal of them to the movies so we said great we will met u there and go early and get some seats. She is walking with the assit of a walker and one of her goals is to walk up the stairs she we were in row 4 and some what in middle but we came early like 50 mins early to accomidate her help her get  in seat  and settle in with out tons of people around, We saw the movie women which sold out and seats were filling up.Well we had open seats on both sides of us and I placed her walker resting on one of them and the other was left open for anyone to sit in Justs mins before the movie was to begin a lady strolls in LATE with her friend and asks us to move down and I said no I am sorry but  have a disabled child to movie and she is settled in.

Next thing she grabs  a usher meanwhile  I see her friend has secured a seat in front but grant u not the best seats.She comes back with the usher and he asks us to movie down and I explained the situation well anyway she was making a huge scene and movie was getting to start and he said I will take your walker to box office and I said she will need it to get out of here. He told me I can pick it up at the box office

So we got up and helped my daughter move down to accomidate  this beach . People gasped and were in shocked this lady had the nerve to do what she was doing to  my daughter  mind u getting up down with newly cracked open  chest hurts to move up and down so with her popcorn and drink had to be moved but we had to help her GET UP and it embaressed our daughter.. People were applauled over the situation and what was suppose to be a fun night with our daughter turned out to be a bad scene.. Maybe I am different but I would never ask a disabled person to move . I mean clearly  she saw the walker, Who says it does not Pay to be late..worked for her. I actually' prayed for God to give her taste of her own medicine but I don't  think God will answer requests like that.The nerve of people. This lady after the movie darted out like a bat out of hell.. I wonder why surely not to go get her walker

Soooo sorry for your experience that was suppose to be a fun night out! You have the same luck as I do.....Bad! The only thing I can say is .....God won't give her a taste of her own medecine BUT he WILL allow things to happen to her. I believe in being considerate of others ESPECIALLY OLDER INDIVIDUALS AND MENTALLY & PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED! OK, I have said my two cents worth, I just could not resist. Next time, try not to let anyone steal your thunder or push your buttons! You have been thru so much lately, please keep your chin up, you are a survivor........

I am just mad and to see how people treat others just  gets to me.. I remember the way people treated me for being so fat...like i was stupid and  u can see our how out of control just beimg so fat shows via my weight  to the world., u can hide drinking drugs or other vices just weight u cannot hide.. ty for the support I hink right now I am really taxed out and stressed to the max.

That has got to be the rudest thing I have ever heard. What a biotch of a woman!!!! You know it might be worth sharing your experience to the manager of the movie theater. Let them know how you were treated and how ridiculous it was for the usher to ask you to move instead of finding other seats for this rude woman and her friend to sit in. Once he realized your situation with a disabled person he should have insisted the woman move somewhere else end of story.  This should definately be brought to their attention so maybe next time you will have the theater on your side and not this crazy rude biotch!

Sad part we did complain  to manger and they said what do u want us to do.. like oh well.. we said u need to train properly.. regal entertainment  knows how to really entertian  disable poorly I am writing to the main office about this,

Lisa I am so sorry you and your poor daughter had to deal with such an ignorant *****  I work with people with disabilities and people like this are sadly more common than you would believe.  I can't believe the people at the theater weren't more accomadating I would write a letter to the owner of the company and also to the local papers telling people they are not understanding to people with disabilities.  I hope your daughter continues to do so well and does not have to deal with any more STUPID people like this women.

There sure are a lot of A-holes in this world!! I don't know what more to say. People don't think about others..they are rude, selfish and stupid!! Once again, hang in there!

That is horrible.  I can't beleive people these days.  You don't to ask God to give her a taste of her own medicine, because I firmly beleive that what goes around comes around and she will get hers in the end.  I hope the theater or Regal entertainment do something to compensate you and your family for what happened.

Self absorbed people only get one thing.. more of themselves.  I hope that girl soon see's her offence and won't be such a narcissistic spoiled brat again.    How old was she?  I find that a lot of people my age (early 30's and younger) are really selfish for the most part.  All their lives they are taught that they are the most important person in the world.  Don't get me wrong.. I'm all about good self esteem.. but in my opinion, it was really over done on us while I was growing up.

Just my 2 cents.....
