Ok I am wondering where everyone is and the checking in on the lurkers out there,,

I hope some are not posting due to no loss or weight gain .. why we are here to help each other to keep on track.. Or bring u back to keep on track

Crystal if u are out there I lost  your number aswell as  yours Amber.

I see my hubby struggle with weight gain and he is  2 years post RNY and he always ask how all you RNY are doing and of couse lap banders . Were all in this together. He is hovering at 195 and lowest for him was  i was 175 he is happy with 185 and 175 he was to skinny

I need to get back to exercising and with so much family issues I am not able to do anything. I am not able to keep focused lately. I am very very stressed out with my daughter and dealing with her. I mean she is doing very very well but still has a lot  of work ahead of her and she is now moving over for the nuero skill center late yeterday after noon but she is not settled in yet as the apt she is in is not gonna work for her and they decided to move her in with a18 year old female. Most people that come to nuero are from all over the country . I guess if u have to have a stroke Bakersfield Ca is the place to have one as their name to fame is stroke capitial of usa , Just all docs and the fact she is 19 kinda keeps us out of the loop somewhat. I mean she is so trusting of everyone but she cannot remember what people tell her,
I have no idea how to get my self focused with kids starting school etc I am just going nuts. I need help and have no idea where to go. Not like I need a  therpist I am just taxed out and I have begged hubby to stay home with me and help and that leads to us fighting as He has a job that is the usual run of mill job and him taking time off is BIG deal..
I need ideas to keep my self focues and back on track but how??????

Anyone having hard time getting back into the groove?

oh yeah I am wonder if any of u have pain in your tail bone area due to lack of fat . My tail bone hurts soooooooooooooooo bad last couple of months..I use to have bubble butt and now it is gone and man my tail bone just throbs ,, I am so bony in areas and I cannot remember feeling being so bony EVER lol Just wish my tummy fat  was gone not my butt fat LOL

Hang in there Lisa. It is hard to be patient but so necessary. I hear ya about the tailbone. Mine did get better.
Things are getting back to normal around here. I just returned to work. Mom is doing okay. Not sure how much more improvement we will see but Dad and I are doing our best for her.
Met with my surgeon. The good news is my liver biopsy was benign. My appendix showed that I had chronic acute appendicitis. Means I would get a flare up and instead of rupturing it would recede enough so I never had to have it removed before. Weird...
My son has been assigned a new team to lead. He will be in a new town with new terrain. The team just got into Afghanistan so they are green, green, green. I hope they realize how lucky they are to have been given my son to lead them. (yes-I am very proud of the leader he is!).
Anyway, just wanted to check in and update everyone.

Lisa it's funny you should mention the pain in your tailbone. I went through that once I lost all my cushion down there. After a while I got use to it or built up a tolerance for it. and it doesn't hurt as much. But I gotta say sitting on hard chairs or bleachers is a killer. I travel with one of those pillows for sitting on the bleachers so my bum doesn't get too sore.

As for how to get back on track I recommend reading Katie Jay's book......

She's written a few others and I went to listen to her speak and she was awesome. This book is perfect cause you read one page a day on the date of that day and she offers some good practical, mind, body & soul tips & helps. You have a lot on your plate which creates a lot of stress... you have to destress by taking some time out for yourself. Feed your soul & mind and not your body. Even if you just take 15 minutes out for yourself to just sit and relax and not think about anything. Or plan to go out once a week or once a month with a girlfriend and sit and talk over coffee. Sometimes just taking things out with a caring friend can work wonders.... better than a therapist! Or treat yourself to a movie once a week where you can get away from it all and just veg-out.

All that stress will take it's toll on your physical body if you don't start taking control of it. You have to take care of yourself too or you will end up sick or back where you started.

I'm glad to hear your daughter continues to make progress and what a blessing you are to her. She's very fortunate to have such a wonderful caring mother like you. Hang in there and do something for you now and then before you have a nervous breakdown.

Hi everyone, I'm holding steady at 185, but have been working very very hard to get the scalve moving again. The difference is that this time my husband is on board and diligently following the plan, too. (Of course, the weight is just falling off of him, LOL). We were lower-carbing it but still eating lots of fruit, but I guess I'm one of those who is super-resistant, because the scale still wasn't moving. Now I'm going for 30 grams of carbs a day to see if that helps. I am determined to get to goal! Aargh!

yup the weight just falls off men ,, have u noticed the men have just fallen off the A team  board as well.LOL.. of course they have they are skinny and don;t need us.. Men are so lucky ..

I only check in here periodically now. I maintaining in the 130's. I broke my arm on Labor Day and am having surgery on Tuesday to repair it using plates and screws. Ouch... I do try to update my blog and my youtube account. I kind of backed off for a bit bc I was busy w work and DJ and I were split up. We are back together trying to see if there is anything left of our marriage... Ugh. When did they change this board over to the new format? I'm off to go read everyones updates!
