Just got home from the hospital

Hey everyone Sorry I missed the sunday weigh in this week. Saturday night I had an attack and ended up in the hospital until this afternoon. Dr says I have pancreatitis. Very painful let me tell ya! I am doing better now. Hoping to go back and work half a day tomorrow. Still taking pain meds so I dont think I can do a full day yet. Cindy

Take it easy and don't overdo it. I've heard pancreatitis can be painful. I'll give you a good ol' Southern "Bless your heart" and my hope that it will get better soon. Marcia

I had pancreatitis many times....it took 4 years of reoccurences before they diagnosed a lousy gallbladder. I feel your pain and hope you get better soon. Shar

oh ouch!!!!!! hope for a speedy recovery.. how in the world did u develop pancreatitis? Does having WLS increase the odds of getting pancreatitis? Get well Lisa

Oh Cindy I'm sorry to hear you are battling with pancreatitus. I hope you're able to get it under control and relieve the pain. What causes this condition? Are we more susceptible to it if we've had bypass surgery?
