ONE YEAR ANNIVERARY!!!

Well - I am exactly one year out today! A year ago today at this exact moment I was on Dr. Ahmad's table getting a RNY gastric bypass. I cannot believe it. I was 323lbs exactly one year ago at this moment. At my worst point in life I recall tipping the scale at 350-355... I pretty much wanted to die and was ready to!!! Today I am 214lbs (probably a little less- since my last weigh in was over a week ago). That is a loss of around 136 pounds since the worst point in my life. This has been absolutely one of the greatest and strangest years. The surgery was the best decision of my life and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is suffering day in/ day out with the way they feel and look. I can't even imagine how terrible I would feel right now (and look) if I had not gone through with RNY. To all the people that questioned my judgement - TAKE A FREAKIN LOOK AT ME NOW! WOOO HOOOO!!! I have my life back.

Can you believe it has been a year already. You are looking good girl!! Time for some new pictures on your profile. I agree with you that this surgery saves lives. I am sure there are plenty of us who felt the same way you did. Keep up the good work!! Jan

Wow Susan a 136 pounds gone in a year... that's astounding!!! Keep up the good work, you look amazing! Amazing how 1 year can drastically change our lives for the better!!!
