Hi Everyone. I just got back from a great horse ride out at the lake. Wildflowers, green grass and gorgeous weather made for a GREAT time. I know this helps me when I start to feel down in the dumps. Sunshine blows the blues away. Not much has changed. I cut back on my carbs and was back to 1lb below goal all week. Had some carbs in the form of SF cookies last night and BOOM! back up 2 lbs. Can we say "Carb Sensitive"???? I have uploaded the picture of me embarassing my surgeon at the pinning ceremony. He is such a good sport and it was a very funny moment. On April 30th our program will have a style show and I have been asked to participate. I am still trying to decide what to wear. I am sure it will have some cowgirl bling somewhere. Meanwhile, I am working on being "fierce" for the runway. LOL. SW 282 CW 164 (most of the time) Total freedom -118lbs.

hi all! I am doing ok...not great unfortunately. I am tired again and feel out of sorts. I have had a headache all week that I just can't break with NSAIDs and I can't do my old antimigraine meds that cause vasoconstriction like the ergotomines or sumatriptins that used to kick all of my migraine HAs. But, after having 3 MIs, I have been advised not to take these again for good reason...they did give me a little chest pressure when I took them, but I didn't care since I was young and didn't have any Family Hx of cardiac problems. Now, I am my family history! Oh well, now I have to muddle thru. I don't want to exercise, I don't want to get up and down too much - that makes the throbbing worse! Now my belly/pouch is starting to bug me...likely a wonderful NSAID induced gastritis (yes, I am on prevacid daily...but the NSAIDs just eat me up.) I have my 1 yr visit this week, so I guess I will see what the doc says. I am up with my weight to 122 right now, and I shouldn't complain...but I had gotten down to 120.8 (0.8# till my second goal weight of 120...) I feel like I shouldn't have any thing to complain about since I haven't weighed anything this low since High School...but, for what ever reason...I want to get to that goal weight and it is a downer to go up in weight...no matter how small I have gotten! What a mind job we can give ourselves when we don't feel we are doing what we think we are supposed to be doing...ugh.

I was at 202 this morning which is up from 198, my lowest. I know that it is because A) I am PMSing, and B) I am about to move and I am going out for "good-bye" meals with various folks at least once per day. I am praying that I get moved and back onto a schedule. As of now I have no clue how many calories I am eating or if I am getting enough protein. I am also not getting to the gym because it was near my old job, not my house (I am off for 2 weeks to pack). Lame excuses I know, but I'll get over it soon. Even at 202, I am still down 148lbs!! Can't complain about that.

I could just copy & paste last weeks post! I am at the same this week as last week. Just can't seem to break into the 170's! It's killing me! I will up the exercise this week and maybe try the 5day pouch test if that does not work! I know I am going to loose more but when? i have been in the 180's for 4 months now! Bummer! I have upped my calorie intake to about 1000 - 1200 and protein to 80-90 and liquid to around 80-90oz. Let's up the exercise now and see what happends! SW 289 L?W180 TODAY 180 total loss is 109 lbs! No change for me this week. Been 187 for two weeks now. The weather has been great so I think I'm going to try and up the exercise. Seems strange to get off of work and still have energy. I would really like to see 180 before I go to the doc at the end of the month but I really have to work hard to get there. At this point I'd be thrilled with 185. pre op 325 dos 312 today 187 138 lbs. GONE YEH!!!!!!

Hi everyone! No weight loss to report-I know that I need to exercise more and eat fewer carbs and that'll take care of this stall-it's a matter of doing it. I've been focusing on getting at least 5 fruits and veggies a day, and I have to say I feel great eating that way. Yesterday I pulled out my old favorite pre-op pants to see how they fit, and I could do that standing-in-one leg thing, like in the pictures we've all seen! I'll post a pic soon-it really was amazing to see the difference, and I'm SO glad I saved them to keep as a reference. Yesterday I spent the entire day outside doing yardwork, something I could never have done at my highest weight-it feels so good to be able to take care of my house and yard now! Thanks for posting-I love to read how everyone's doing, and I am so proud of all of you!
