maybe I can break 200 next week. It's like something magical must happen then, lol, I'll fart rainbows or something

Inky, you're so funny. Just wait. You should meet Shar. Holy cow is she gorgeous!! I have never seen eyes like that. Absolutely turquoise blue. She is a lovely lady. I will post a pic of us later once I figure out how to get my new laptop to recognize my camera. Shar - looking cute. Jessica - post workout.
This week I still weigh 198 after 5 weeks but I am dealing with it (down 150lbs!!). My original goal was to weigh 198 after one year. Funny how I lost sight of it and beat myself up about not losing faster. I hit my goal square on the head and I am proud!
BTW Inky, both Shar and I said how we'd really like to meet you. Someday maybe travels will take me to the West Coast. What major city are you closest to?
I saw the pic on Shar's profile - you both look so fantastic!!! Wish I could've been there.
I am glad that you regained sight of your original goal and realized that you DID IT! I had a goal to be below 200 by my one year and I still have 20 days, I can do it too!!
Jess, 150 pounds in a year is astonishing, really, and I am so very proud of you. You've been an inspiration all along and helped me, challenged me and kept me focused. I do hope we can meet some day
I live on the Central Coast of Crazy California, about 2 hours north of Santa Barbara (or 3-4 hours north of LA, depending on traffic). I am closest to San Luis Obispo, not a big city, but the biggest we have, lol, and about 4.5 hours south of San Francisco. Ever hear of Pismo Beach? I live RIGHT by there Bugs Bunny visited Pismo Beach when made a wrong turn in Albuquerque I ended up here by accident too, but it's lovely and I "heart" the ocean very much.

Not a good week still up 7 lbs .. 210 ugh .. but not 213 anymore
See what lack of exercising does? I SO REGRET HAVING THIS SURGERY the pain is so bad .. I start physical therpy this week to gain movement in the arm back.. I am so not a PATIENT PERSON
I am so hoping I can get a hold of this soon. My life is so out of synch and been a battle .. mental over body ..
I am able to sleep more so I guess the pain is getting better alittle
but I am also taking motrin with loratab .. the adhension r very painful and was told normal in healing process he said will get worse before better.. doc tells me this new t of type of surgery is extremly painful and slow recovery but in long run I will have use of my arm compared to the conventional surgery of just sewing the tendion .. he told me he grounded the bone down the bone and anchored a screw the tendion back on in hopes to graph the tendion back in place.. with the screw that will dissolve in 18 months .,. best method for a full recovery but VERY painful.. and S L O W recovery..

Hey All! I have been trying to adjust to life after goal and learned a lot this week. On wednesday I was down another pound to be 2 below goal. So, I tried adjusting my carb intake. Well, now that was interesting. Not only was I wantng to eat constantly but I am up 3 lbs from the low-overnight. Hmmmmm. I am now sitting 1lb ABOVE GOAL. SO here is the lesson. Veggies, fresh fruit are okay and give me energy and keep weight going down. Taking in more rice, bread, etc causes me to want to eat all the time and the weight shoots up. Lesson learned!
This week, I will be cutting back on starches and seeing how my body reacts. I am thankful that I have this tool that lets me make these changes.
I thought it important to keep checking in and letting you all know what I found out. This journey will never be over for any of us if we intend to keep the weight off.
