old habbits creeping in
Ok confession time for me .. my diet is just plan terrible . due to the over whelming stress daughter was in icu and then medi vac to ucla Recovering from shoulder surgery and alot of post op pain etc..
Been eating out of a vending machine. NOT like healthy food is sold out of those things eating crap etc and now gained 10 lbs .. Not able to exercise.
I am very stressed.. OVERWHELMED
I need to get a handle on my life but how????
Anyone have some good ideas.. where do I begin?
My mind is not in this but need to kick my self and get with the program and get going..
My mind is not there but I got to do this .. ugh
Anyone got helpful hints after falling off the wagon? Gonna hit the gym to try something better than nothing

Am I the only one failing?
Take a deep breath and try to start by getting your water in when you go for the junk drink some more. You are going through a tuff time and I say worry about that first and eating second! try to grab some protien bars maybe run to a store and get some special k bars and put in your purse so at least the junk will be somewhat benificial.

Sorry you going through a rough spot! I have found that when I want to stress eat- I pull out my before pictures that I keep with me to see how far I have come. That at least distracts me from wanting to grab something that is not the best choice to eat. I also keep a supply of snacks that are "ok" to have...protien bars, peanut butter crackers, nuts. Ok We need to talk again don't we....well Girl call me tomorrow Sat. I will be home all day.. I think I have the flu so I will be staying close to home. And NO YOU ARE NOT FAILING ....you are trying we talked about this already. But the comment about getting a fill might be a good idea. Call your surgeon. Then call me tomorrow.
You aren't failing, you've had a lot, and I mean A LOT of stress and eating well during stress is darn near impossible for me too.
I think the suggestion to call your surgeon and see if a fill is in order may be a good one. perhaps more restriction will help get your mind to follow along.
You know what you need to do and the first step is acknowledging it, so go for a walk today or hit the gym, and make a good food choice for your very next meal! the cool thing about our pouches, whether RNY or Lap Band, is they are there waiting for us to do the the right things.
hang in there Lisa and get that failing mindset out of your head, that won't help you at all. set backs happen but you are not a failure!!
