update with daughter in hospitial

well they r trying to transfer her to ucla or icu but they have no beds .. she has had over 90 seizures.. last night she went status on seizure was so bad and scarry over 40 in 2 hours but i think we hit a turning around point found out she had a infection and maybe the cause of all the seizures.. she has only had 3 seizures threw the nite .. yeah!!! so she is responding to meds finally yeah .. Poor girl looks like she will have to drop college classes ugh Lisa Thanks everyone for prayers and thoughts

We'll say a little prayer that the infection is the cause of the seizures and that they can finally DO something about them. My heart goes out to your daughter (and, of course, to you.) Marcia

Oh Lisa, you must feel like you are living in an alternate reality right now, in the hospital watching your daughter suffer these past few days. Thanks for the update-I am sending her healing thoughts and I hope that clearing up her infection will take care of the seizures. Don't forget to take care of yourself, too-make sure you are eating enough and drinking your water so you can be strong for her.

So Sorry to hear that she is so sick. She can always pick up with the classes next semester. I hope that they figure out what is causing the seizures soon so that she can begin to heal.. I will be thinking of you and your family. Marla

Lisa, Bless your heart! Not much worse thing than to watch your baby suffer and you be so helpless. On my brothers 40th birthday, he started seizures. Come to find out, it was an infection that was treatable. To this day he is still on meds. I know yours is a different situation than his but remember the hardest part is the waiting. Lisa, I am so sorry to hear that she's still in the hospital but really glad the seizures have gone down in number. Hopefully this infection can be quickly treated and is the cause so she can be back on her feet. Keeping you all in my thoughts, Inky
