Lisa, So glad to hear you made it home. Hang in there, girl. I just returned from the orthopedist...I have a torn ligament in my wrist. because we can't take NSAIDs, he gave me an antiinflammatory patch . Did your doc give you this? It will help with the pain, you might want to ask him for one. I is called FLECTOR PATCH. Rest and feel better Shar

I'm glad everything went well. Just don't try to do too much all at once. Take it easy and keep up on your pain pills. When you start having pain take one. It is important to keep ahead of the pain. ( sorry that is the nurse in me talking). It is a good idea to discuss alternative pain meds with your doctor. There are many types of medications out there in patch form. Ask him about them. So glad you are home. Jan

Hi Lisa, I'm glad to hear that you are home and OK. I hate those pain meds, too-some make me extremely nauseous, and the others make me very depressed. Either way it's a bummer. I hope you are starting to feel better, and it must be a relief to have that shoulder taken care of! It sounds like it was pretty serious, so it's good that you did it!
