Wanted to share how things are going.

Well I found out a lot of information and I also found out that Medical weight loss clinics do help gastric by-pass patients along with lap banders. So I am going to have the doctor for our clinic help me. I want to make sure I get to goal. But anyway with the stress and all that I am going through my body is really fighting alot of stuff. I have gained 6lbs. and that is from eatting strawberries with a protein drink in the morning, snack is protein bar, salad with chicken breast that I pack for lunch and then another salad for dinner. I would say that is less food than what I was eatting before and I should be able to lose. So Does anyone else go through alot of stress and you gain?

My body is so wierd...I can be up 2 to 4 pounds and then down again in a day or two... I average a weight loss of .8-1 pound a week but most of the time I am up and down all week long averaging at that loss. Stress does crazy things to your body... Just try to take care of yourself. You have done so great and will only contine to become more healthy as time goes on. Give yourself the time you deserve, continue doing what you are doing and everthing will fall into place. I find that if I don't eat enough protein and drink at least 64 oz of fluid, I don't lose. I try to stay away from things that don't have protein. Jan

I retain water when I am stressed out. It can be maddening but will usually go back down after a few days.
