How can shoes make you so happy???

I can't remember the last time I wore a high heeled shoe. I have been living in flats for years. Well.today I bought 2 pairs of shoes with high heels!!. And.....a thin, skinny heel. I can't believe it! And my shoe size is smaller....and no more wide width!Life is good! Thanks for letting me share this wow moment Shar

Shar, I feel ya girl. Shoes are my downfall. My hubby and I went shopping today and he kept pulling me away from the shoes. I didnt get any today. But Tomorrow? If I have lost weight this week.........honey I am going back to get them black high heels

I've never worn high heels either. Mostly because I'm very tall and kinda insecure about it. But you have inspired me! Congrats Shar!!! -Shakeira ps. My feet got smaller too.. people where telling me it's my imagination.. but I'm definitly a 9 1/2 and not a 10 or 11 now.

shoes are fabulous!! Congrats, Shar I am fitting back into a half a closet of 10's again, my size was up to 11wide. Back in high school I was a 9/9.5, but being a 10 is just fine with me!! Yay pretty shoes! Inky

Shar, that is SO fabulous! I've gone down a shoe size too, and now I hate that all of my shoes look clunky and orthopedic. They're all Dansko's, Keens, etc. You have inspired me to go try on some cuter shoes now!

Yes! I totally relate!!! Like you, I wore flats. But several months ago I bought a pair of black, totally adorable, open-toe heels - as you say, skinny heels - and I can walk in them without wobbling and without pain and suffering. I've since bought another pair of black heels, blue heels, and these really good-looking brown heels - in a medium-width, 1/2 size smaller size! I feel so - GIRLY - when I'm wearing them, ya know what I mean? Yes, life is good! Congrats on your Wow moment!!!! Marcia
