Day 2 Pouch Test
thanks. good to know i haven't made myself sick. thanks for the support. i said something to someone here at work about having a headache and tummy upset and they brought me some peanut butter crackers. kind of ironic. nice to know they care but funny cause that's the very thing i'm trying to break myself of eating.
i hope you're feeling better Heather! Ive been so busy at work i havent had time to check in on everyone until now! Im glad ive been busy though ....because man on man im hungry! lol
For lunch today i had to go to a restaurant to get soup...i just ate the broth though. I had to run errands at lunchtime and didnt really have a choice but i dont think i broke any rules. It was chicken noodle soup but i made sure not to eat the noodles or the chicken. I just sort of drained the broth out of it. They threw crackers in the bag ....do you know how hard it was for me to eat around the damn noodles and chicken and then the dang crackers were crying out my name!! I was good though Im proud of myself.
Now lets see how i do at the bunco party i have to go to tonite. As soon as i get off work i have to go pick up a cake to bring to it and then the entire night ill have to avoid all the yummy food everyone brings. Ugh.
I can do this!! Right?

well I am the first big failure!!!! I was getting so sick everytime I stood up I got dizzy and started to black out. I had 4 crackers with cheese and later i had a 1/2 cup of fat free refried beans. Sorry guys but I couldn't hang for sure! Does that mean my pouch is broken or just my will. I still feel ****ty though so now I am thinking maybe i am comming down with thte flu? The husband had it a week ago and the kids wed-sunday. either way I need food I can't keep blacking out my blood sugars were 88 I use to sit at over 120 so I guess thoes are normal? good luck to you all you are far more dedicated and strong willed!!!

You are NOT a failure!! Look at the success you've made in such a short time. If the pouch test wasn't good for you, then so be it! Just get back on track with your proteins and you will be fine. Track what u are eating ...maybe it's not enough. You can not give up, nor can you put yourself down. You don't need the pouch test to be successful. Use your pouch for what it was made for..to eat. You can do this!!!!!!!!!!

Dont be down on yourself Dee! The pouch test is not easy and the main thing is that we are focusing on the basics again, and if you can get the idea that your protein intake is important and your aware of the rules of eating that first...than that is the most important thing you can learn from this.

Ok so i did well at the bunco party but it was not easy! Not sure if any of you have ever played bunco but its a fast paced dice game that i play with 19 other women. Before the game began everyone ate and i was dyingggggggggggggggg because i had to go straight from work and hadnt eaten anything since that broth at lunchtime. Once the games began i was okay though and preoccupied the rest of the time. Most of the ladies hung around afterwards to eat some more but i hightailed it out of there to avoid temptation. As soon as i came home i ate some jello....whew! i feel better now and thankfully its bedtime soon so i can get over the hunger pangs and start a new day tomorrow where we can actually chew some food! Im going to make a big ol plate of scrambled eggs!! lol (day 3 we're allowed to eat as much eggs, tuna, soft proteins as we can eat comfortably in 15 minutes)
Anyway, i did well !
Breakfast: coffee
Snack: protein drink
Lunch: chicken broth
Snack: protein drink
Dinner: SF jello (i didnt have time to eat!!) but im going to bed so i dont care!! lol
...watch me get up in the middle of the night to raid the fridge..lol. ok, maybe i need to drink a protein shake or something real fast before i hit the sheets..?? wise idea maybe? ugh. g'nite all. Love you bunches!
