"Old habits" Update...

About a week and a half ago, I posted about old habits coming back. Some of you posted responses and appreciate it so much. It really got me back on track. It is comforting to know that others are going through the same things I am. I have started writing down everything I put in my mouth, this way I seem to not stuff things in my mouth I shouldn't because I would hae to record the calories. It seems to be working!! The weight has started coming off again. Woo Hoo!

Hi Stacy, tracking everything I eat really helps me, too. It prevents me from taking bites of chocolate or cookies all day, because once we see how those calories add up, it's scary and not worth it! Thanks for checking in-it's nice to see that I'm not alone in my struggles. Congratulations on taking more control over your eating-we can do this!

I think I may start doing this also because lately my thoughts are way to consumed with food. You are right. I will not want to write down the way I have been eating lately! It's not when I am in public but when I am at home and I know that no one will ever know about it.

Great new to wake up to!! Congrats on getting back in your stride and the weight coming off again I too suffered a set back in December and got back on track this week with food tracking, water and exercise, and I KNOW it's those things that work because I feel better and in control of myself again. I am so glad to hear it!. After reading the post from DD and this one I have recommitted myself to doing the right thing. We have a lot of life ahead of us and we will have to re focus many times. I want to get to the the point where I just do it without thinking about it but until then, I am going to keep trying. My goal to make my "new habits" my old habits. As I said then" STAY ON THE BOARDS" Thank you to the team. You keep my motivated in a powerful way.
