I DID IT-Single Digit Clothes
Whoopppeeeee! I had an unbelieveable week and lost 3 lbs (not sure how that happened so close to goal??) Well, I tried on some single digit (size 9 jeans) and THEY FIT!!!!
This was my next goal and it arrived early. The last time I wore single digit pants was when I was 16 yrs old. I am close to 6' tall-so size 9 is very small for me.
I tried them on, then called my hubby over to the dressng room to see, took them off, tried them on again. Checked out my fanny in the mirror and when hubby asked me what I was doing-I told him I was having a "moment".
This was a big moment for me-it had as much of an impact as when I made it to onderland. I know you all can relate and I just had to share.
Happy New Year "A Team". Here is to fitness and being healthy in 2008!!!
What a great way to start the new year! Yipeeeee!
I know our husbands probably dont understand us when we have one of these "moments" and they probably shake their heads as if we are silly...but it is a good feeling and almost hard to believe each time we go down a size because most of our lives we have struggled so hard to obtain a goal like that and now as it comes, almost monthly!, it just feels soooooo incredible.
I love it when my husband folds laundry and puts my clothes in my daughters closet! At first it was irritating because id be looking everywhere for a certain shirt or pair of jeans ....now i know to look in her bedroom and i cant help but smile each time i see them hanging there with her teeny things
I have a feeling this is going to be a great New Year for us all! I wish you many great "moments" in the dressing room Sharra!
I have to admit, last night I went into the closet, got the size 9's down and put them back on. I still cannot believe they fit. (working on the head and heart seeing the same thing)
Then, I did some more booty shaking. Taunted my hubby with what a 'skinny" wife he had and just acted like a dingaling. It was so much fun!!(Hubby just rolled his eyes)-he is used to my antics.
I think sometimes we get so serious about this whole process it was time I injected some JOY and HAPPINESS back into the mix at my house.
