New Year Resolution.......
I want to reach my goal of 130 lbs and most important.. be able to maintain that weight for the rest of my life.
Have a little work done on my boobies (which are still huge even though I have lost weight)
Move my family to a much bigger home. I would say we have our hands full. One day at a time-- we will all get there!
Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am amazed how some woman never lose their twins LOL Mine packed their bags and left right away .. I am so flat it is not even funny .. sad as my tummy sticks way out. LOL
Bigger home .. what a cool goal ....
I must admit 130 seems so far away for me .. but then I only wanted to get to 139 LOL
BEST OF LUCK
u can do it ..becasue u r doing it!!!

Wow...a triathalon ...thats awesome Lisa!
My New Years Resolution is to join the gym and start working out regularly. I joined ...now the fun begins as far as the working out part. Ill start on Monday when the kids go back to school. I figure this will give me the rest of this week to go buy some work out clothes. All my others are from before surgery and they are HUGE! I need to buy a good pair of tennis shoes too. I have not worn a pair of sneakers in years! I pulled mine out of the closet , and they look brand new because they've never been worn...but for some reason they're too small. I know my foot didnt grow ? I decided i probably bought them small because when i was bigger and would have to buy large size clothes i would compensate by buying small size shoes. lol...have any of you done this before?? Crazy **** we would do ..lol. Ok, anyway...new tennis shoes and work out clothes so i can begin toning up some of this flab! Im determined to make time for this!! By the time i get off work and out of the gym each day my family will probably be starving as we sit down to dinner around 7pm, but i do think they will be very supportive of mommy making time after work to do this for herself I can no longer use the excuse that i dont have time, i need to MAKE time!!
Blessings to you all and best to you and the resolutions you make this year!
oh! p.s. i also have a dr. appt. to get on chantix to quit smoking! I think i have to take it for 3 weeks before i actually quit so thats a resolution that wont really begin until the end of the month due to poor planning on my part. I didnt realize you take it while you are still smoking for the first several weeks, otherwise i would have made the appt. a month ago. Either way though....its going to be a tough challenge but im determined to do it. (and scared too! so afraid of gaining weight after i quit!)
Well a mini triathalon.. not the iron man LOL I had to do something so when people said wow u r 50 I could reply yup and when I was 40 I could never do a triathalon either LOL
Keep this in mind when u quit smoking .. even if u gain a few pounds it will be a good weight gain back because u r gaining back so much more in return .. your sense of smell u will breathe alot eaiser and your lungs will say ty for giving me some life back.
U will gain years to your life when u quit SMOKING a small PRICE for ganing just a few lbs back don't u think?
U can do it.. becasue u r doing it ..
Very proud of u .. to decide to give up smoking..and start the gym
I am getting very addicted to exercise again something I FORGOT many MANY MANY years ago something I FELT when I was training and made it to olympic trails for swimming. (yeah something I BEEN ASHAME TO ADMIT HOW BAD I HAD LET MYSELF GO tell now TO ANYONE )
SO how fitting would it be to do something at 50 .. I COULD NOT DO AT 15
GOOD LUCK WITH WHAT SOUNDS LIKE A VERY PROMISING NEW YEAR!!!! FOR you!!!

Hi Lisa, this is a great topic. I usually don't make resolutions because I never keep them, but reading your post I realized, hey, I actually lost a huge amount of weight in 2007! Since I've already achieved one goal, why not shoot for another one! So, my next issue to tackle is my finances. They are a huge mess-I never learned to manage money well, and tend to deny or ignore what's happening until things spiral out of control. I am determined to get things under control this year!
