Sunday Weigh In
Hello A-Team,
I am thrilled this week is over! I managed not to loose or gain. I know I did not get all my water in and the exercising sucked this week too! This is probably the 1st Christmas in a while I did not gain any weight and for this I am thankful!
Not a change this week!
DOS 289
Last Week 185
Today 185 na-da this week but a total loss of 104 lbs since surgery!
Wishing everyone a safe and prosperous New Year!
Rhonda
Did pretty well over the holidays, but also am glad to be back on track from having a few too many carbs and "non-meals". I've been hovering around 190-192# lately, with the lowest the scale has said being 189#, and the highest at 195#. I think the fluctuation depends on the amount of sodium I've been having - have to watch the salt I guess.
Good job everyone with their losses! Keep it going!
Highest 338#
DOS 320#
Today 191#
Total loss - 147#!!!
Ok, I'm a little late, and haven't checked in with the A-Team in awhile. Welcome aboard, new members. I concur with the others who have said this is the best forum on OH - we are very supportive. And we don't flame each other when we get off the program, which I admit I've done this Christmas season. However, I haven't gained any, which is a good thing. I'm holding steady at 148 - 149 (vacillating back and forth). It's a new year, my kitchen remodel is finished, and my family have all gone back home, so I can get going again with the exercise and eating right.
Ok, here are the stats:
Pre-op: 240
DOS: 232
Goal: 1. 140, or get off of the BP meds, whichever comes first, if it ever does
2. Normal BMI, achieved
Current: 148 - 149
Pre-op size: 24W
Current Size: 12
Comments from friends: "Has anybody told you you've lost enough weight? Well, you need to stop now."
Thoughts when she said that: "Good Lord! I weigh 150 pounds! That's not too skinny. Is she nuts?" then "Ye Gods, nobody has every hinted I was too SKINNY!!! Yee HA!"
Happy New Year, everybody.
Marcia
Hi everyone,
I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one who has given in to a bit of temptation! We can all get back on track together! I was home with a horrible cold all weekend and found myself eating junk like macaroni and cheese, and toast with jelly, and not nearly enough protein. It's the first time I've been sick since surgery-I had no idea what to eat, since eggs and meats just didn't sound good. I should have stuck to soup, but I ended up falling back on old habits. I somehow lost 1 lb this week, which I am very thankful for. That puts my BMI below 35, meaning I wouldn't qualify for surgery any more! Woo hoo!
Highest: 293, size 24-26 pants, size 28-30 tops
DOS: 287
Last week: 185
Today: 184, size 12 pants, size 16 tops
Total lost: 109 lbs.
My next goal: 164, which would take me out of the "obese" category.
I am a day late and probably at least a dollar short. LOL I am also facing all the temptations of the Holidays. I did have an amazing loss over the last couple weeks.
Last time I weighed in (a few weeks seem to have gotten away from me) 213.
This morning on my brothers scale (which he said adds a pound or 2) 197.
I have hit onederland!! I am so excited I never thought that would actually happen. I actually had settled that I would always hover around the 200 pound mark and I was happy with that. I am ecstatic!!
Thanks to all of you guys for everything!! May the New Year be filled with plenty of (weight) loss, protein and water. The best of everything!!!!!
I haven't checked in in a while either. Congrats to us all for doing such an amazing job and supporting each other.
I am happy to report that I finally lost 100 pounds though! YAY!!!
Consult: 262
DOS: 250
Today: 161.5
Goal: 145
I can't remember who said it, but for me also this is the first year my new year resolution will not be about losing weight or going on any kind of diet!
HI all!
Sorry late in posting - we were traveling for the holidays. Just got home late last night. I actually did pretty good working out some over the last week while away, which was necessary since the week prior to Christmas, I didn't work out at all for the entire week. Eating was, well, grazing a little too much on some days, but others where pretty good in getting in the protein.
Preop 243+
DOS 220
Today 133.4 (no change for about 2 weeks) HOPEFULLY I am now building muscle!
Time to get working out more to help with my muscle tone (or lack thereof!)
Take care! Happy New Year!
